"Gaslighting Sophie“ geht inhaltlich auf auf toxische Beziehungen ein. Thematisch orientiert sich der Song an narzisstischen Persönlichkeiten, die nicht in der Lage dazu sind die Falschheit ihrer Handlungen zu erkennen. Wehe jedem, dem so eine Person begegnet, dem so eine Narzisstin/ ein Narzisst ins Leben tritt. Das Lied behandelt inhaltlich eine extreme Form des Narzissmus, bei dem sich der Narzisst als summum bonum (lat. Höchstes Gut) begreift und sich Liebe zu Hass umkehrt. Alles wird verdreht und in den Abgrund gerissen. Das Opfer bleibt alleine mit einem Scherbenhaufen zurück.
